Next event at Mirfield Centre: How Should the Church Engage with Society Today?

We have a variety of Christian Educational Resources available for Church or Group use.
The Diocese of Wakefield is delighted to announce the opening of Mirfield Resource Centre.
Mirfield Resource Centre is a resource room available to all parishes of the Diocese of Wakefield. We also welcome visitors from other denominations. Our resources cover everything from baptism preparation to adult study courses including Alpha. We try to cover everything a parish would need to resource their church work and I am pleased to say that we are always adding to our stock.
Books can be loaned for a month at a time. We also host the Ordained Local Ministry library which are restricted purely to OLM’s but our other resources are available for loan to them.We are located in The College of the Resurrection on Stocks Bank Road in Mirfield. Please park in the College car park (behind the staff offices) and ring the bell on the blue door situated in the corner of the car park. We are open Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm and our direct telephone number is 01924 481919.
Our Resource Centre is staffed by Sheila Crosby along with volunteers. We are always looking for additional volunteers and anyone interested should make contact with Sheila either through Mirfield or Church House in Wakefield email: resource.centre@wakefield.anglican.org or telephone 01924 371802 Ext 205.
